Hi I make belly cast and I need a cool name for my casting business. I later want to offer hand/feet/bottom casting, cloth diapers, slings, cloth pads, blankets, etc.

Any name suggestions???

Thanks,

I wanted to go that route too. But I wanted to take the belly molds and make clay copies. A name is tough...Moment in time...sounds like it could be hokey. I am bad at this :) Let us know if you get a site up and running!

Hey I think I'm just going to go with Natural Impressions Studio. That's what I called it before, so I registered my domain name a day or two ago. So that cool as far as the other stuff I figure I can always just add it into the "store section of the site"

Ya know, what the fuck. Women fought to have equal rights, and they got it, I am going to start a revolution so that men can get pregnant! It's just not fair! I want a Belly Cast!!!!!

            Peace, Love and Light,

            Mathew

P.S.- Thats pretty cool actually. Do mothers do it in stages? Like one month, 3 months, 6 months? Does the person have to be pregnant?

I feel ya man. If you want to shave yer belly I say go for it! You don't want plaster setting around any hair. My friend Morgan did a face mold and well, let's just say you need to put vasaline on eyebrows.
I have only helped with one mold in the past so I don't know about stages-great idea though! I don't think you have to be pregnant but You don't get any outside detail so it may not look as interesting as a mama.

Well Kate, you lack of vision as far as interest in the potential look of a man's belly cast disturbs me. Just playing. I had a friend once who did a bunch of them and she gave me one, just the torso, from right above her hips to right above her chest, it was a very intersting piece because it was painted all different shades of blue, and in gold "Cellar Door" was written across the lower ribs section (?). I still to this very day do not understand "cellar door", but I have let that go. Well, thank you for reminding me of what belly casting is. I just figured something out and I must share it with you all. I do not know who likes Jay-Z, but he has this MTV unplugged album, it is awesome because The Roots back him up, but the first song, "Takeover", the music is the same as The Doors' "Five to One." If you want, check it out, its the exact same beat and tune. Sorry, thank you all again.

                Peace, Love and Light,

                Mathew

Hey there, I thought I'd do a little up date. I did get my name pick out www.naturalimpressionsstudio.com a bit long I know but what can you do. I did the whole site myself so it's pretty basic, but it says what I need it to so I guess that's all I need. I put a few pics of my cousins belly cast on there, that I made.
