This is a kahelelani two strand rope from kauai. there are seven hundred rare kahelelani sea shells in this piece of art/jewelry. I made this necklace when i lived in kauai. These shells are among the rarest shells in the world. Also the only shell considered a gem. The style is traditional, and origanally from the polynesians. $200.00

Beautiful in its simplicity this Hand Carved Walnut Hair Stick/Pin measures 5 3/4" in total length. The Heart itself is about 1 1/2" X 1 3/4" and a just under 1/2" thick. The finish is completly natural and eco friendly and consists of several coats of Flax Seed Oil with several coats of Orange Wax over top. Comprised of laminated Walnut, Maple and Honduras Mahogany and turned on my lathe this is something I have wanted to try for quite a while and finaly got around to. I think it turned out quite well but I'll let you be the judge. An actual slice of an Apple Tree Branch strung on an 18" cord I braided with a toggle style clasp I carved from Lyptus wood. The finish is a high lustre 6 coats of Lacquer. The beautiful simplicity of nature at its best and its still for sale in my shop at http://canadianwoodcrafts.etsy.com
